Huynh Thi Thu Thao – Outstanding and energetic member of the youth union (17/05/2020)

Recently, the Youth Union of Faculty of Foreign Language Teaching Education- UFLS- UD was honored to have Huynh Thi Thu Thao 16SPA02 awarded the title of “Outstanding Individual Following the Teachings of President Ho 2020” by Executive Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union- the UD. This is a strong motivation for members of the Union as well as students of Faculty of Foreign Language Education in particular and of UFLS in general to make a huge contribution to enhancing the development of our nation as well as Danang city into the new heights, more prosperous and civilized.
Thu Thao used to be Secretary of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union tenure of the academic year 2018- 2019. In addition, she is a diligent student, who always has a concrete working plan and contributes enthusiastically to every activity of YUFLTE. During her time working as a secretary of the Youth Union, Thu Thao organized a variety of extra-curricular activities in order to connect students of Faculty of Foreign Language Education. Also, she paved the way for them to participate in voluntary activities for the community as well as other programs fueling the creativity of students.
Huynh Thi Thu Thao has been a role model for many generations of union members. She has devoted herself in many activities of the associated organ along with the Youth Union- Student Association of UFLS- UD. Besides, she has received a lot of awards not only in union activities but also in academic work. Thu Thao won the third place at “UD’s students with APEC 2017” competition.
She was awarded the title of “Student of five merits” at UD-level, city-level and the certificate for the participation in Voluntary Summer Campaign throughout many years, etc. With these achievements, Thao proves herself to be an excellent and enthusiastic student at the university. She is currently in her final year at the university, and it is hoped that she will thrive and succeed in every step she will take. We hope Thao will continue to be the inspiration for us students and further contribute to the activities of the Union- Association of UFLS- UD in particular and UD.
